You can configure it to close Tasks by middle-click to the tasks entry immediately in the task bar. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then Alt-T to open Task Manager's Applications tab. The best 3rd party solution I found is 7+ Taskbar Tweaker. Actually, the Close All command works with pretty much any app, but it’s especially useful for Finder since you can’t actually quit the Finder like you can with other apps. // Close All Windows // This macro closes all image windows without // displaying save changes dialog boxes, i.e. The fastest native solution seems to be Win + Tab and then middle-click the Apps to close them. This will close all Finder windows in one fell swoop.
